Days Like These
One of the best times of my life so far, was spending a long weekend with my son Jared sailing around on our windsurfers. Time well spent.

Expedition windsurfing is using a specially designed vessel capable of carrying 3-4 days of supplies for multiday camping trips. It can be sailed as a windsurfer, paddled as a sit-on-top kayak or as a stand-up-paddleboard (SUP). Used for long expeditions, adventure racing, short trips along the coast, island hopping or exploring the back country inland water ways. It combines the adventures of backpacking and kayaking with the thrills of windsurfing.

looks like you had no fun at all... ;) cant wait to try it!!!!
What a great time you had! I can't wait until my son Gabriel (6) is old enough to go out windsurfing with me. He's interested, but still a little too unfocussed. This summer I'll teach him the kayak, and maybe in a couple of years he'll be ready for a windsurfer.

Tif, next time you are visiting Florida you get a free windsurfing lesson guaranted to get you cruising.
Ian thanks for the post. Just keep it fun and fresh. Everytime you go out you can tell him all about the things you saw and how much you learned. Tell him how much you want to share the good times with him and how you cant wait for him to feel the joy you feel when the wind freshens and you are skimming across the water.
How can he resist?
